Built from the dispatcher's desk, not a Silicon Valley office

NSRoute exists because existing route planners ignore everything that matters to freight forwarders and truck drivers: toll costs that vary by emission class, weekend driving bans, bridge weight limits, oversized cargo permits, and the dozens of country-specific regulations that affect every commercial transport across Europe.

Who built NSRoute

We built NSRoute because we were tired of spending 40 minutes per route doing what a computer should do in seconds. Google Maps does not know your truck exists. NSRoute does.

Making European truck route planning smarter with AI. We combine deep logistics domain knowledge with modern software engineering to build tools that save time, reduce errors, and help transport professionals make better business decisions — before the truck moves.

Domain expertise that shapes the product

Every feature in NSRoute comes from real logistics experience. The oversized cargo module exists because permit categories differ between countries. The driving ban alerts exist because weekend restrictions can delay loads. The toll calculator is a planning estimate checked against official or public toll-operator sources where available, with final costs verified before dispatch or quoting.

Technology

NSRoute is built as a modern web application running on Cloudflare's global edge network. Route calculation uses HERE Maps truck routing API with parameters for vehicle weight, dimensions, axle count, ADR class, and emission standard. Fuel data comes from the EU Oil Bulletin and is refreshed regularly. The AI assistant uses natural language processing to understand route planning requests in 22 languages.
